Getting to the top is the easy part, but staying there takes real talent — and Triston “DJ T.O.P.” (Triston On Point) Thompson, The Youngest in Charge, has proven he’s built for it. Raised in Charlotte, NC, by a music-loving father and surrounded by crates of vinyl and Technics 1200s, T.O.P. discovered his passion early. By age nine, he was already spinning records, and at twelve, he made his radio debut on The Konnected Radio’s Stuck-N-Traffic mix show, building a loyal following that continues today.

Since then, DJ T.O.P. has rocked stages across the country — from celebrity charity events and college tours to comedy shows and concerts with artists like Latto, DJ Envy, Steve Wilks and DJ J. Recognized as the 2022 and 2024 Queen City Award DJ of the Year, he’s also the founder of Triston On Point Entertainment Group, LLC, expanding into music production and sound rentals. Whether spinning for NBA All-Star events or hyping the next big party, one thing’s for sure — Triston will always be On Point.
